Online ticket purchases may be made up to 90 days in advance. Tour dates that do not fall within the ticket availability date will be held and place in queue to be processed in the order in which they were received as tickets for later dates become available.

All sales are final. We do not compensate for late arrivals or no-shows. Access may be restricted, altered or cancelled due to inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances.

Reservations are valid only for the specified tour, date and time. Tickets are in the buyer's name and are not transferable.

For your security, all adults who are over the age of 18 are required to present a current photo ID when you pick up your tickets, and you may be asked to present your credit card as well.

No ferry ticket refunds for used or unused Reservations.

Please arrive at your departure point approximately one hour in advance of your scheduled tour time to clear National Park Security for visitors taking monument tours and to allow ample time for ferry boarding as it is on a first come, first served basis.

Alcatraz - More Information


We provide a third party booking service for purchasing Alcatraz Tickets. The price includes a service fee of $8 per ticket. Your order authorizes us to purchase the tickets in your name. If you do not print your e-ticket, please pick up your tickets at the "Pre-Paid" Box Office window at your desired departure point. You will need to present your ID and the credit card used to purchase tickets. Tickets can be picked up prior to tour date.

Ticket confirmations are sent right away, but can take up to 24 hours. Next-day tours will be promptly confirmed.

The purchase total at checkout includes all fees and charges. Your credit card will show two charges, one for the tour and one for the booking fee.

Your order does not guarantee the availability of chosen reservation. Alcatraz reservations are often sold out well in advance for popular dates, or may not have enough room for a large party. Your order is not confirmed until you have received a second email from us with all your tour information and confirmation number. The first email states your tour and confirms the credit card has been charged, the second email confirms that tickets were secured for you, and includes your confirmation number.

There are no refunds or changes on Alcatraz tickets, unless times are not available.

Polices prohibit Guided Tourist, LLC from issuing refunds or exchanges for lost, stolen, or damaged tickets.


Orders are capped at fourteen (14) tickets per customer.
